Resolutions
Native API
Section titled “Native API”The resolution field is required in POST /api/v1/generations. For images,
use 1K, 2K, or 4K, depending on the selected model:
| Model | Image size |
|---|---|
gemini-2.5-flash-image | 1K; set resolution: "1K" |
gemini-3.1-flash-lite-image | 1K only; set resolution: "1K" |
gemini-3.1-flash-image | 1K · 2K · 4K |
gemini-3-pro-image | 1K · 2K · 4K |
gemini-nano-banana-2.1 | 1K · 2K · 4K |
Nano Banana 2 Lite has its own 1K tariff. It is not an alias for Nano Banana 2; 2K and 4K are not configured for Lite.
Gemini-compatible API
Section titled “Gemini-compatible API”Use generationConfig.imageConfig.imageSize (in the Python SDK,
types.ImageConfig(image_size="2K")). gemini-3.1-flash-image also supports
512px, which is billed at the 1K rate.
For gemini-3.1-flash-lite-image, explicitly use imageSize: "1K"; do not
request 2K or 4K. The provider validates the supplied value. If imageSize is omitted,
Moonez.ai does not add it to the request; the minimum rate is 1K.
See the SDK examples.
